The Systems Biochemistry research group, lead by Assoc. Prof. Ronan M.T. Flemingis an interdisciplinary research group of computational and mathematical biologists. Their fundamental interest is to develop scalable mathematical and numerical analysis techniques that increase the predictive fidelity of biomolecular network models, by combining domain-specific physicochemical constraints and generic artificial intelligence techniques. Their applied interest is in the aetiopathogenesis and amelioration of inherited metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases.
